Horizon Youth Sports (HYS) is a Christian youth sports program of Horizon Church. The Senior Pastor, John Kaites, has a desire to reach kids with the Gospel through sports. He understands that coaches make a huge impact in kids’ lives, while giving the opportunity for healthy men and women to walk out life with kids. Pastor John knows that coaches will reinforce the healthy values that are taught at home.

Horizon Youth Sports has been created to empower kids with the knowledge of the sport they are playing while being taught valuable core life skills.

As a faith based league, we believe that Jesus is the center of all our lives. The Bible gives examples on how we should live and treat each other. We believe the Bible shows great examples of strong and courageous men and women, while also showing their compassionate loving side. We believe the great example of the coaches, refs, and all that are involved with HYS helps model healthy and loving examples where the seed of life grows in a child’s life.
